England the Enigma

Seventeen days in, and we’ve seen a fair bit of England. Some great spots:

Quick summary:

London

Exbury Gardens – near Southampton

Dorset – Thomas Hardy’s cottage

Salisbury cathedral

St. Ives, Cornwall

Dr. Martin’s village – Pt. Isaac

Castle Coombe

Why the Enigma?

The UK is less than 1/10 of the size of Western Australia. Yet the UK has nearly 3 times the population of the whole of Australia (66 million vs 26 million). Some places are teeming with people – London particularly. If you want to get close to someone, go on the Underground!

Yet, so much of England is full of lush green, rolling hills with no one in sight. And even though England is known for its changeable weather (and rain/drizzle particularly), we’ve had almost 100% glorious weather. We are blessed indeed. 🙌

Until next time…

Gorgeous photos of some amazing scenery and locations. 😁 Great weather too, albeit a little too hot at times! I remember getting heat stroke on one of those open air hop on hop off buses whist in a traffic jam on Regent Street! The irony of it all!
