Is Time Linear?

My Second Book this week

Ben Elton proposes in the above novel that time may not be linear. I know that the novel is fiction, but it’s an interesting thought.

Have you found that some days or weeks race by, but others go by slowly? Mostly, we are in the former camp. Life races by at light speed. But sometimes, just sometimes, it s l o w s right down. These nine days in Tassie are the slow variety. 🐌  We’re doing lots, but we’re not hurried. No timetable to keep – other than our flights. It’s refreshing for the soul to slow down. And restful, and all those other great R words.

Launie

The locals call Launceston ‘Launie’. With our three days there, we did lots of walking. There are steep hills to climb up – despite Mrs. Google telling us that it’s mostly flat. “You can’t believe everything Mrs. Google says” – to quote our 4 year old grandie, quoting his Dad. 😃

Cataract Gorge

Was fun going there. It’s only a short drive from Launceston. We went on the pedestrian inclinator (operate it yourself) and the chairlift across the gorge. The chairlift has only a single bar that doesn’t lock in place. You flip it over yourself to keep safe! Then we walked back over the bridge. Plus, we saw wallabies and peacocks.

Until next time…
