Spring is sprung in W.A. but…
Winter is fighting back!
Just like the seasons know when to start and finish, September in Western Australia started beautifully for us. The weather started to warm up a little and we got more sunshine. However, winter was not done yet and soon we were immersed in cold (well cold for us) and wet again. The spring flowers are still beautiful though.

We started the month going to Araluen Botanic Park to see the thousands of tulips in bloom. They were as beautiful as ever. The garden too is looking lovely – although the weeds are threatening to take over! The fruit trees have buds, flowers or even small fruit – it is an exciting time.
I am training hard for the Ride for Compassion bike ride (I’m only doing the first two days of the ride) from Albany to Perth. The total distance is 520km. The first day is around 90km and day two around 70km. Two weeks more training before the ride. If you would like to sponsor me the link is: Ride for Compassion
